Augsburg, May 2024 – WashTec, the market leader in vehicle washing, presented the new generation of its wheel washer for the SoftLine² conveyor tunnel system at UNITI Stuttgart from 14-16 May 2024 and promises the best rim washing quality with modern, robust technology. A number of performance and safety features guarantee high-performance and safe operation within the wash process with the aim of significantly reducing the need for manual pre-washing. The new wheel wash can be retrofitted to all SoftLine² conveyor tunnel systems.

The high-quality stainless steel construction and proven friction wheel technology guarantee maximum operational reliability in challenging environments. A combination of extended travel path (1,200 mm), multiple rotation changes and an innovative pulsation function set a new benchmark in the wheel washing sector. Using a frequency converter, both the traverse path and the rotation movement can be customised to ensure low-wear and wash process-oriented operation. The multi-stage, sensor-based and completely contactless safety concept ensures maximum operational safety. Programmable LED process lighting and an integrated high-pressure application are available as options.

With the latest generation of its wheel wash, WashTec is launching a product onto the market that not only looks good, but also performs well. Particularly in combination with plastic conveyor belts and the associated stationary wheels, the wheel wash offers the technical solution to automate the wheel washing service.
